Threads of Hope
What we do
Vocational center, Zaid Iqbal, in Lahore, Pakistan, where I had the privilege of working with talented underprivileged girls. I provided them with blank socks as ‘blank canvases’ and encouraged them to create their own unique designs. This project allowed the girls to explore their creativity, experiment with colors and patterns, and gain confidence in their artistic abilities. Seeing their ideas transform into real, sellable Smellyz socks was incredibly rewarding, and it was inspiring to witness their talent, imagination, and enthusiasm firsthand. To read more about this experience as well as find stories on girls who helped, visit this blog, Threads of Hope.
